Submission process
Contact us if you'd like to propose an educational article that is relevant to our audience and presents a balanced perspective. We consider unpaid and previously unpublished contributions. Be sure to tailor your content so that it speaks directly to PBWC's audience of corporate and entrepreneurial women.
Step 1: Send a rough draft. Our timeline for evaluating proposals ranges from 2-4 weeks. Proposals that do not receive a response after 30 days should be considered declined. We strive to respond to all the proposals we receive. Due to the overwhelming number of inquiries, we cannot always guarantee a timely response.
Checklist - What to submit
• Unformatted article as MS Word document (500-600 words; please include a 1 sentence summary of the article and your 3 key takeaways)
• 2-3 resources for more information, such as recommended websites, books, blogs
• 2 sentence author bio with company name and website link and color author headshot (attach as separate file. we'll provide an email address where you can send it)
• (Optional) Proposed sidebar (tip list, lessons learned, glossary of terms) and figure or art
Step 2: If your idea is accepted, we will reply with feedback and suggested edits from the editorial board. At this stage your article is under evaluation. We don't guarantee publication until we review a final draft and notify you that the article has been accepted.
